You can pursue B.Arch (Architecture) degree and become a designer.

I would suggest you to do degree (B.Arch) than a diploma. Diploma in Architects entails you to be a draftsman, and a B.Arch degree makes you a designer.

In karnataka, I feel you have a few better options - such as Manipal Architecture, RV Architecture, BMS Architecture, BGS School of Architecture and Planning.
