When it is a matter of choosing a career in the field of civil engineering or architecture, one has to know the basic differences between the two which includes the difference of working environments, career scope, core subjects and future prospects in these two fields. Though these fields are similar in many aspects but there are differences which makes them unique and individual fields.
The nature of civil engineering is more mathematical and thus detailed structural designs, structural analysis, construction and maintenance is the responsibility of a civil engineer.
On the other hand, the nature of architecture is more artistic and towards the utilization of space to produce a good architectural design (a plan or a map or a drawing) simultaneously keeping high aesthetic value, compatibility with building bye-laws and ekistics principles. There are scientific principles involved but not as much as those are involved in civil engineering.

You have to qualify NAT exam to take up Architecture. A minimum of 80/200 is required. I would say a score of 130-140 would land you in a good college.
The National Aptitude Test in Architecture (NATA) measures the aptitude of the applicant for specific field of study, i.e. Architecture. The test measures drawing and observation skills, sense of proportion, aesthetic sensitivity and critical thinking ability that have been acquired over a long period of time, and that are related to specific field of study, i.e. Architecture.
List of Architecture college would be found on Council of Architecture Website. In Bangalore, you can check for BGS School of Architecture and Planning.

Both NAVAL Arch and B.Arch are completely different courses. Users and their requirements are very different. It depends totally on your interest and passion to choose between the two.
