No, you need to registered as an Architect with the council of Architecture which gives the registration only to people who have pursued B.Arch degree.

I would suggest you to do degree (B.Arch) than a diploma. Diploma in Architects entails you to be a draftsman, and a B.Arch degree makes you a designer.
