Architecture is a field which requires both engineering and creative skills. Architecture is a niche branch and job opportunities may be lesser in comparison to civil engineering but has more opportunities to practice as independent consultant. Independent Consultants career could be more satisfying and financially better.

same question m also suffered n got confused between these branches n go with ce.now your question civil engineering is branch of engineering which deal with strength of structure only designing of amount of steel and concrete n all while in architecture its all about designing the structure

You need to appear for certain entrance tests for getting admitted to second year engineering after your diploma.

Also, some well known colleges in Mumbai for B.Tech include VJTI, ICT, Sardar Patel, Somaiya and for B.Arch include JJ College, Rachana Sansad Academy, Rizvi, Raheja.

B.Arch needs mathematics either through PCM or even commerce with maths students can take NATA as a qualifying test. If you are keen to make a career in architecture, apply for a diploma first and then go for lateral entry to B.Arch.

If you posses architecture bend of mind go for b. Arch for sure rather bba. If you plan to develop those skills then bba. It's easy to develop skills required from bba student than develop architecture skills
