At least in present times Aeronautical engineering, unfortunately, has not much scope in terms of job employment. On the other hand, architecture has very good scope. One can start one's own enterprise also.

B.Arch in Interior Design is an engineering course having a duration of five years. Candidates who have passed plus two with the subjects Mathematics, Physics and Chemistry can only join this course. Jadavpur University is a state university of West Bengal and thus the admission is done through WBJEE. Jadavpur University does not take admissions through JEE Mains. So, if you want to get into Jadavpur, first sit for WBJEE. To get into JU, you need to get a rank under 1500, If you are going for Electronics, CSE, Mechanical, Civil, Instrumentation, etc., then you need a very decent score, your rank should be under 600 700. But, if you want to get in IT, Power, Printing, Construction etc. Then scoring under 1200 1500 will be enough. Yes, there is a caste based quota. But, as far as Home State Quota or something like that is

Last year (2k17), my friend got 219 marks in JEE Mains Paper 2 and 81% in 12th from CBSE Board and he belongs to OBC category, his Gen Rank was 9243 and OBC Ran was 3800, still he didn't get any college. So, I think for a general candidate, the score must be above than 250 if board marks are not included.
