On the official website of the university, it clearly states that candidates willing to get admission into BSc courses must secure a valid score in CUET (by NTA). It is compulsory to appear in the CUET examination and achieve decent scores that can qualify for the merit/ cutoff list.

No, you can't get admission to Assam Agricultural University (AAU) in Jorhat without qualifying for the ICAR All India Entrance Examination in Agriculture (AIEEA). The AIEEA is the entrance exam for admission to all PG programs at AAU, except for a few disciplines.
In order to get admission to AAU Jorhat, one needs to fulfil the minimum eligibility criteria and also clear the necessary entrance examinations like AAU CET UG/ GAT B/ ICAR AIEEA and others.
