Automobile engineers design, test and develop vehicles and/or components from concept through to production, and are involved in improving the vehicle in response to customer feedback. It covers a wide range of engineering disciplines e. g. mechanical and electronics engineering. It deals with the technology in the context of modern motor vehicle developments and environmental safety issues. This course is ideal if you would like a career within the automobile industry and to develop a comprehensive range of related skills. The Mission of the Department of Automobile Engineering, Chandigarh University is to:
M1: To produce intellectual engineers with strong analytical, modeling, designing, experimental, and teamwork skills. M2: To provide innovative teaching practices, through excellent laboratory infrastructure and exposure to recent trends in the automotive industry. M3: To ensure that students are molded into competent automotive engineers to meet the growing challenges of the future. M4: To provide industry-oriented skills and guidance to students for conducting industry collaboration to research and educate them with futuristic skills. M5: Inculcate societal responsibility and ethical values to address the concerns relating to the environment and overall development.

Although I am unfamiliar with DTU, I can state that Lovely Professional University gives a wealth of chances to its students.
