Being a Commerce student, BCA can be the good option because degree or Diploma in Automobile mobile required 10+2 with PCM. So go with BCA.

Dear Ashif, It depends on the college you get. The number of good institutes providing B.Tech in Automobile Engineering is less. In fact very few like VIT, LPU, RJIT, PSG, etc. IITs providing B.Tech in Automobile is also very few. So if you are not getting admission in these colleges for automobile, don't opt automobile engineering
My friend did B.Tech in Automobile Engineering at LPU and got placed in an MNC. He told me that the highest package offered for this programme at LPU is INR 31 LPA. Salient Features :

Lateral admission is available in the B.Tech for Automobile Engineering programme at LPU, but not in the Diploma programme. After graduating from LPU with a Diploma (Lateral) in mechanical engineering, my buddy went on to LPU to pursue a B.Tech in Automobile Engineering via lateral admission. Hello Shashi, I think so. However best would be for you to visit the website of the directorate of technical education of your state. They will have a table indicating the branches of Diploma that are eligible for lateral admission in aerospace engineering. Best wishes to you.
