Getting admission for MS abroad is a totally different cup of tea. In Indian context the only thing that matters is your marks in the qualifying exam or your marks in the entrance exam. On the other hand universities abroad base their acceptance not only on this but very many other aspects viz your extracurricular activities, how much you have involved yourself in social activities etc. There are many nuances which need to be taken into account when you are applying abroad for MS. In view of this I will strongly recommend you to approach an agency which is dealing in sending students abroad so that they will take care of

1. Direct Second Year.
2. Admission to First Year.
3. Through Entrance Exam.
1. Direct Second Year: If you have Diploma then you can go to direct second year.
2. Admission to First Year: If you want to first year then it is possible.
3. Through Entrance Exam: Some universities takes entrance exam to Admission in First year or Second Year.
If you have done Diploma, then you can get direct admission in 2nd year of B.Tech. It is known as lateral entry course. Universities like JNU, Lovely Professional University, Anna University etc. Provides lateral entry programmes for Diploma holders. So, you can check the

1. Never do the B.Tech course through the distance mode.
2. College where you wish to pursue the course must be AICTE approved.
3. Prefer to join B.Tech course through the Lateral entry scheme in regular mode.
