Candidates are required to remain present in person at the time of Jai Hind College BA admission and submit the following documents in original and photocopies:

• Class 12 marksheet
• Documentary evidence for Special Category Status
• Passing Certificate required for issuing of Eligibility Certificate
• Migration Certificate
• Caste Certificate (if applicable)
• Original affidavit and Sindhi Panchayat certificate (for Minority community)

Jai Hind College offers a three-year BA programme in general mode as well as in a specialisation mode, namely:

• BA
• BA Advertising and Journalism

Candidates seeking admission to the BA and BA Advertising and Journalism programmes are required to meet the Jai Hind College BA eligibility. Candidates who have passed the Class 12 examination conducted by the Maharashtra State Board of Secondary and Higher Secondary Education or its equivalent from any other Board are eligible for Jai Hind College BA admission.

Jai Hind College has not released the 2023 placement details. However, according to the NIRF report 2023, 186 UG (three-year) students were placed during Jai Hind College BA placements in 2022. The median package offered to UG (three-year) students during the Jai Hind College placements in 2022 was INR 3.62 LPA.

The total student intake for BA at CDLU is 190. The university also offers various BA courses through its affiliated colleges. The total number of BA seats including the seats at the colleges affiliated with CDLU is 11,421. This further gets divided among the BA specialisations offered at various colleges. All these seats are filled through a common admission process of CDLU. The mentioned number of seats has been sourced from the official website of the university. Bachelor of Arts at Andhra University is a three-years  (six/eight semesters) course at UG level. Additionally, university offers more than 20 specialisation in the course such as, BA (History, Politics, Special Telugu), BA (History, Politics, Special English), BA (Public Administration, Politics, Sociology), BA. in History, Economics and Politics, BA (History, Public Administration, Politics), etc.

The last date to apply for CDLU BA admission varies from year to year. This is because the admissions are based on the CUET UG result. Aspirants can check the CUET result online.

The admission to BA courses at CDLU is based on the scores of CUET UG. Only a candidate who meets the required eligibility criteria and has a valid CUET UG score can apply for BA admission at CDLU. Based on the scores in CUET UG, the university prepares and releases a merit list containing the names of shortlisted candidates. Hence, one can not get a direct admission at CDLU for BA.

CDLU fees for all BA degree include multiple components, such as the tuition fee, hostel fee, caution deposit, etc. The fee amount varies from one course to another. In the total course fee, some components are paid every semester, while some are one-time. The tution fee payable across the entire course duration of BA at CDLU ranges between INR 23,800 and INR 1 lakh.
