Faculty of Architecture - AKTU requires you to have 50% in your Class 12 exams. You must have studied Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics. Your PCM subjects alone must also average at least 50%. If you have a 3-year Diploma, you also need 50% marks. This ensures that every BArch student is good at basic calculations. It is a mandatory rule for all applicants.

Faculty of Architecture - AKTU tuition fees do not cover your personal drawing tools or materials. As a BArch student, you will buy sheets, pens, and model-making items. These are your personal assets for five years. You might also have small fees for exams or university registration. It is smart to keep some extra money aside for these daily supplies.

Faculty of Architecture - AKTU charges about INR 5.31 Lakhs for the full BArch course. This covers your studies for all five years. It is a very reasonable price for a professional degree. The fee includes both your tuition and your hostel stay. When you compare it to private colleges, this is quite affordable

Faculty of Architecture - AKTU does not allow lateral entry into the BArch course. You must start from the very first year. This is a rule set by the Council of Architecture. Architecture is a long, 5-year journey that builds step-by-step. You cannot skip the foundation stages. All 80 seats are filled only during the first-year admission process.

Faculty of Architecture - AKTU has a total of 80 seats for its BArch program. This is a fixed number to keep the class size small. Smaller batches mean teachers can focus on every student. You will get enough space in the design studios. It is a competitive process to get one of these seats. Only the most dedicated aspirants make it through.

Faculty of Architecture - AKTU uses a Cumulative Grade Point Average (CGPA) for the BArch course. This replaces the old marks system. It is a much fairer way to look at your progress. The grading system is standard across India now. It helps you if you want to study abroad later. It also helps companies understand your academic strength more clearly.
