Hi Vivek, As per the ICAI guidelines, you can pursue only one another course along with CA during the time of articleship, it can be B.Com or CS or any other course. By this time, you can only give CS Executive and continue with B.Com (as only one course can go along with articleship). I hope this clears your doubt.

You have a number of options after B.Com foreign trade. Go for Masters, you can become an analyst, advisory, join some company, join some organisation or even can startup your own international business as you know the trade rules.

After going through your description, I would say that there is no reason for a company to not shortlist you for their placements. Provided you are able to explain your history in the best possible way. Highlight your experiences and justify it with key reasons. In the end, companies really don't care whether you have a gap of one year or so, they look for candidates that suit the companies requirements, such as knowledge, skills, attitude, etc.
