You can join MBA Finance in any of the reputed management institutes. To get admissions into these colleges, you will need a good score in CAT XAT CMAT etc.

There is a common myth that only Science stream candidates can apply for the MCA course. This is not correct. Anyone who had Maths as one of the subjects in 12th can apply for the MCA course. Age is not the barrier. Avg age of students in IIM s is 27-28. The 46% might create a trouble. Make sure you get 90% and above in CAT and 0perform well in GDPI. Last year I got into the very reputed Doon Business School, Dehradun with 93.5% in CAT.

MBA is better looking at it's wide field of prospects. But, it always should go by your interests. Otherwise, MBA with Finance major will open wide scope. I am a student of Doon Business School, Dehradun, and I have seen MBA Finance people have grabbed packages as high as Rs 23.5 lacs.

Hi,
Well, the minimum percentage required for appearing in CAT is 50% for general and 45% for reserved category. However, if you are a general category student, you are ineligible to give the exam itself. With such percentage, the truth is bitter. All the other good options won't be available at such a score, except you have chances of getting in private institution.
