Age is not the barrier. Avg age of students in IIM s is 27-28. The 46% might create a trouble. Make sure you get 90% and above in CAT and 0perform well in GDPI. Last year I got into the very reputed Doon Business School, Dehradun with 93.5% in CAT.

MBA is better looking at it's wide field of prospects. But, it always should go by your interests. Otherwise, MBA with Finance major will open wide scope. I am a student of Doon Business School, Dehradun, and I have seen MBA Finance people have grabbed packages as high as Rs 23.5 lacs.

Well, the minimum percentage required for appearing in CAT is 50% for general and 45% for reserved category. However, if you are a general category student, you are ineligible to give the exam itself. With such percentage, the truth is bitter. All the other good options won't be available at such a score, except you have chances of getting in private institution.
