You must try CAT rather than IPM or you may continue with Post Graduation from a reputed University. It is based on you but You may also prepare for CAT while persuing Post Graduation.

Hello Delna! Yes, you can pursue MBA in Finance. But for that, you need to clear your backlog and score at least 50% aggregate marks in your final year. Good luck!

The answer to this question depends upon your interest. If you wish to pursue a management career then MBA would be the best thing but if you wish to take out your creative side and do something innovative, the go for mass communication.

Hi Tarun,
Both are separate ways, MBA is more about management and CA is more about accountancy. There are some common traits but all in all both are different. If you have a statistical mind and accounts is your favorites then go CA, and if you have traits of a good management in terms of resources, people, then go for MBA. I personally believe that CA is a better paying field than MBA.
Think and chose wisely and go for it.

Hi Mrunal,
Frankly speaking, YES you will face difficulties as most of the companies have a set criteria of minimum score. If you have good practical knowledge despite less score you can exceptionally be selected by some companies but chances are few. I'd suggest you to go for post graduation and complete it with a good percentage to compensate the loss that occured. This is not the end of anything but you'll have to go an extra mile to prove your abilities. Don't repeat mistakes and learn from them to make you M.Com a good one. Then you know, sky is the limit.
Good Luck.
Regards,
Gautam Joshi
