After completing your B.Com, you can start preparing for the different MBA entrance exams held. The main sections to study are: English, Maths & Reasoning, with GK also asked in some exams. This preparation might take around 3-6 months(or even more), as per your aptitude level. Join some good coaching class, if required. Be aware about the different cutoffs of the various top B-schools and eligibility criteria for getting shortlisted for their further interview rounds.

You can do short diploma courses on business management offered by private B-Schools along with B.Com. You can not do formal University courses along with B.Com.

Hi Nithin,
Afraid to say, you are not eligible to pursue higher studies in Canada. You could have still been eligible had you scored better grades but 42% is not even recognised. At least 55% is recommended. Please pursue a one year PGDM full-time and maintain your academics to study abroad in future.

B.Com honors would be better if you want to pursue MBA from IIM as it will give more weightage while getting admission. Also, B.Com (Honors) would be a good for career prospect as well.
