The main difference between these two programmes is the length of study and depth of creative study-
BSc in Animation (3 years): It is a technical course with a strong emphasis on execution in animation and visual effects.
BDes in Animation (4 years): A more general course with a strong emphasis

For admission to B.Sc. (Animation & Multimedia), the Candidate must have passed 12th std. /HSC Examination through CBSE/ICSE/Uttarakhand Board or any other Recognized board.

According to me, if you pursue Animation course and have a good coach to lead you, you will do awesome, because I am also fond of painting and sketching, so I know that how much deep observation is required for that. It is definitely going to help you.

The basic eligibility is that the candidate must have passed 10+2 from a recognized board. So, if you have to clear your 10+2 from a recognized board, you are eligible to apply for the exam.
