VIT Chennai BSc curriculum for the Computer Science specialisation is divided into Discipline Core Courses,  Discipline Elective Courses,  Ability Enhancement Courses, Skill Enhancement Elective Courses, Value Added Courses and, Open Elective Courses. Students are also required go for the project and an internship.

Dr. DY Patil Arts, Commerce, and Science College has not yet revealed the B Sc Computer Science placement statistics for 2023. However, the NIRF report for 2023 has been released. According to the data, 674 undergraduate (3-year) and 307 graduate (2-year) students were placed during Dr. D. Y. Patil Arts, Commerce, Science College Pimpri placements 2022. The median package for UG B Sc Computer Science is roughly INR 2.50 LPA. The median package for UG (3-year) courses increased by about 43% between 2020 and 2021, and it has remained consistent over the last two years (2021 and 2022).

Admission is through state level counseling based on the rank obtained in Maharashtra Common Entrance Test (MHTCET) for the 65% of the total seats. 15% seats are reserved for all India candidates, these seats will be filled through CAP counselling based on the rank obtained in JEE-Mains.

There is no direct admission for students available at Saurashtra University. In order to get admitted into Saurashtra University for any courses at any specializations they must pass their 12th examinations with minimum marks or scores.
