If candidates want to opt for research in the fourth year, they must obtain at least CGPA of 7.5 or more after the first six semesters.

The minimum eligibility requirement at NISER Bhubaneswar for B.Sc programs is a 10+2 level examination with a minimum of 55% marks for Scheduled Caste (SC), Scheduled Tribes (ST) candidates, and Persons with Disability (PD). The eligibility criteria for BSc courses at IIMT University is Class 12th with Mathematics, Physics, and Chemistry. The admission to all the courses offered at IIMT University is strictly based on the merit of the students in qualifying examination/entrance examination.
