CEG admits students to its BSc courses based on marks obtained on Higher Secondary Examination (Class 12) from recognised boards. Recognised boards include CBSE, ICSE, West Bengal and any other board subject to verification of the HSC certificate. Thus any candidate who has passed Class 12 and has obtained relevant HSC certificate is eligible to apply for BSc courses at CEG.
Note: College of Engineering Guindy is affiliated with Anna university. The above mentioned eligibility guidelines are as per the site of the aforementioned university. Students are advised to check the eligibility guidelines while filling the application form.

The selection criteria for the Annamal Institute of Hotel Management BSc course is merit-based. The institute offers a BSc in Catering and Hotel Administration and a diploma in International Airline & Travel Management. However, BSC CHA is a three-year course and the diploma in IATM is one year. Apart from this, candidates also have to complete Class 12 to get admission to the BSc course.

Candidates seeking admission to BSc allied health sciences programme must meet the MGMIHS BSc eligibility criteria. Candidates who have passed the Class 12 examination in Science stream with Physics, Chemistry and Biology subjects or have passed the equivalent examination with a minimum of 50% aggregate in the qualifying examination can get admission to the MGMIHS BSc course.

IIT Roorkee offers three different scholarships to its BSc students. Each scholarship is aimed at providing financial aid to deserving and meritorious students of the college. Listed below are the available scholarships along with the eligibility criteria:

In order to be eligible to apply for BSc at IIT Roorkee, candidate must have completed Class 12 with a minimum of 75%. Moreover, interested students must qualify JEE Main followed by JEE Advanced exam. Admissions to IIT Roorkee BSc courses will be made based on merit in JEE Main+ JEE advanced and seat availability intake of IIT Roorkee.
