So if you're planning to get into Post Basic B.Sc. Nursing at CIHSR, you basically need to have done GNM and be a registered nurse. They don't have a separate big entrance exam or anything most of the time — it's usually based on your marks. Forms come out somewhere around April to September. After that, if you're selected, you just have to give your documents, pay fees, and do a medical check. That's pretty much it.

State College of Nursing in Dehradun, for its B.Sc. Post Basic Nursing program, typically admits students based on merit, with a focus on their performance in the entrance exam and previous academic record. Students need to be Registered Nurses and Registered Midwives (RNRM) with a three-year Diploma in General Nursing and Midwifery (GNM) and at least two years of professional experience after registration.

Yes, you can either have a BSc in Nursing or a Post Basic BSc Nursing degree to be eligible for an MSc Nursing course. However, a minimum of 1 year of work experience in a healthcare facility can be a must for some top colleges, also in a specific department, if you want to go for a specific specialization.
