On Highlights
Q:   Is MSc Nursing better than BSc Nursing?
A:

Whether an MSc Nursing is better than a BSc Nursing depends on one's career aspirations. If candidates want to work as a registered nurse and enter the workforce relatively quickly, a BSc may be sufficient.

However, if one has ambitions for advanced practice, leadership, or specialized roles within nursing, or if one has a strong interest in nursing research and education, then pursuing an MSc in nursing can be a valuable investment in one's long-term career. Ultimately, people's choices should align with their personal and professional goals.

In India, a pediatric nurse can become a paediatrician. Here are a few steps that you can follow -

Q:   What is the salary of a B.Sc Nurse in a government hospital in India?

My nursing college life is full of ups and downs.
Placements: The college made no placement offers. Overall, the infrastructure is good. The faculty was good too. I request that the college administration add placement programmes for the students after the final year so that students don't have to suffer for the job and can easily help themselves.
Infrastructure: There were no Wi-Fi facilities, no sports ground, no canteen, and all the other things were good. The atmosphere was amazing in the city. It is not so crowded and is peaceful. The air was clean and clear. The water facility was always available for all the students and staff.
Faculty: The faculty was good. Exams were not conducted on time. Also, the result declaration was late. If the college conducts exams at proper time and the result are also declared at exact timing, then the burden becomes less and life becomes easier.
Other: Overall, the things were good.

It is a good college but facilities are not up to the mark.
Placements: It is a state college of nursing course, so there are no placements in this college. Stipends are not paid for the internships. There is no placement cell in this college.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure is average. Our campus is not Wi-Fi-enabled. Canteen is not available. Classrooms are not properly managed. A playground is not available. There is a decent laboratory in this college. Library is available, but the books are outdated as per the new syllabus. Parking area is also not available.
Faculty: Teachers are well-educated but they are not helpful. Semester exams are not conducted as per schedule. The exam results are delayed after 1-2 months. Semester exams are difficult because teachers do not attend classes regularly.
Other: I chose this course because of my interest in it. The course enhances our in-depth knowledge. Our college should improve its infrastructure and facilities. There are no co-curriculum activities in this college.

Satisfied by the education provided and faculty.
Placements: 65% of the students who passed out last year cleared NORCET and joined AIIMS all over the country for jobs. Students passed out from our college work in different hospitals all over the country, including government and private hospitals and private clinics.
Infrastructure: As this is a government college, the infrastructure of the college is not up to the mark. Currently, it’s under construction and renovation to increase the number of classes. There is not so good facilities available. The library is of a decent size with good availability of books. Labs for fundamentals, anatomy, and nutrition are available. Hostel sanitary is not well-maintained, and food in the mess is fine.
Faculty: The teachers present here are great. Even though the infrastructure is not very good, the education provided is top-notch. The teachers are highly qualified, knowledgeable, and helpful as they have been selected based on exam conducting and clinical experience. The college also provides good clinical exposure to students. The education provided and good clinical exposure make the students industry-ready. As the education provided is excellent, the semester exams are easy, with a 90-95% passing percentage.
