Psychology as a subject is generally included in counselling courses, physiotherapy therapeutic and other medical courses. Psychology course requires studying and understanding human brain development, consciousness, behaviour and personality and humanities related topics.
Also, Amity University Mumbai is the first educational Institution in Maharashtra which is running MPhil Clinical Psychology programme approved by Rehabilitation Council of India (RCI). RCI is a statutory body under the Ministry of Social Justice and Empowerment and Department of Person with Disability (Divyagjan). But please refer to the eligibility criteria. Students who have completed 10+2 in relevant subjects are eligible to apply for the respective UG courses. (10+2 min 50% for B.Sc. Clinical Psychology and 10+2 for B.A. Psychology).
