Admission to the course is based on the candidate's performance in a relevant entrance exam such as JAM, GATE JNU CEEB etc. Biotechnology is a research-oriented subject which combines the disciplines of Technology and Biology. RD X, As such there are no entrance exams for pursuing B.Sc. But yes there're certain specialization courses and some universities which conduct entrance exams based on their own criteria. You must first note what in B.Sc. You want to do and then go and check in the colleges if any entrance exam is required. If yes start preparing if no then get admitted. But, first focus on what your subject should be. All the best.
