At undergraduate level in Maths (Hons), one studies mostly theoretical subjects with main emphasis on core subjects. Also, one gets to programme computer based mathematical models on software such as MATLAB - MathWorks, Wolfram Mathematics etc. Further the following subjects are taught;
Real Analysis
Algebra
Differential Equation
Calculus
Linear Programming
Probability and Statistics
Numerical Methods (programming)
Analysis and Algebra are purely theoretical subjects and are based on logic. Others are simple. Programming is very simple and fun. Before I forget to mention, you will most probably be taught one Credit course every s
