Hi Ayush!
If your rank is eligible for admission, you will receive a mail or call from the university inviting you for the counselling. Please note that the eligibility does not mean you will surely get admission. Higher the rank, higher the possibility of admission. Also, keep a tab on the official website of the university for updates.

According to me, B.Sc (General) is a better option.
Else, it depends on your choice.

Hi Shivangi,
If you have missed the exam date, there is no other date provided. But you can try visiting the faculty on 28th June for on-spot admission. Maybe you will get selected.
Best of luck!

According to the website, it is affiliated to Mysore University but I would suggest you go to campus and inquire about it. Ask for some proof, they will definitely show you the documents.

Hi Sanjeev, Most of the institutes offering the course admit students based on their performance in a relevant entrance test. Some institutes also admit students based on the candidates obtained merit at the level of graduation, while some conduct their own entrance tests for offering admission. Admission process generally varies across colleges. Some such entrance tests held in the country for admission to the course are:
GATE food technology entrance exam
AIJEE: All India Joint Entrance Exams
IIS: The Indian Institute of Science entrance exams
Indian Institute of Technology Entrance Exam
Indian Institute of Crop Processing Technology IICP
...more
