B.Sc. Hons has more advantages than doing a regular B.Sc. Degree because of several reasons:
*You get a very strong background in your owner subject so that would help to take you a long way
*Some universities for PG programs ask only for applicants with the owner degree. But there are no universities who asks specifically for B.Sc. Students that is if you are on a student you can apply anywhere without any restrictions. *If you wish to take up a career in Academics then having an Honours degree in the subject for which you wish to apply for a teaching position definitely gives you an edge over others. The B.Sc. Hons is considered to be academic Limo standard and the ordinary B.Sc. Degree. Another thing is that a student can get B.Sc. Degree more easily than a B.Sc. Honours degree.
