According to the criteria of evaluation of the papers, most of the colleges do negative marking as the no. of candidates are more. Therefore in order to saturate the meritorious student groom the bulk, to have the best cream students in future colleges prefer negative marking. There are some institutions that do not do negative marking. It totally depends on which college you choose.

The best four subject percentage criterion is very simple.
In this process, we calculate English + best 3 subjects which could be any of the remaining 4 subjects.
So you just add your top 3 subject marks with English as it is compulsory. Then calculate your percentage for admission in B.Sc. in D. U.
