B.Tech is a better option as it is a professional degree/ course whereas B.Sc. is not professional but it is a simple degree. The way technology is growing and impacting our life CSE is an option that is going to offer endless opportunities to candidates. Many reputed private universities like SRM, LPU, VIT, etc. are offering B.Tech CSE. They have their different criteria for admissions. Some offer admission on basis of JEE scores, some offer admission on basis of their own tests and some offer admission on the basis of both. Admission in Mumbai University is on Merit and/or Entrance Test conducted by the University. You can surely try for it. A candidate for being eligible for admission to the three years integrated course leading to the degree of Bachelor of Science (B.Sc. ) must have passed Higher Secondary School Certificate Examination (standard. XII) in Science stream conducted by the Maharashtra State Board of Secondary and Higher Secondary Education with Mathematics and Statistics as one of the subject or its equivalent.
