It depends on your interests and career plan. The options after B.Sc in Biotech would be to do your Master's degree and then do your doctoral studies if you wish to be in the area of Research or a job in academia. Some options are available for getting a job in the area of Production control or Quality Analyst in organizations such as Biocon, You should be really good with your basics on concepts such as Fermentation technology, Bio-remediation etc. However, its worthwhile doing your Masters and your doctoral studies Ph.D. and then trying for a job. What really matters is your interest and the career plan that you have planned for yourself, whilst understanding your skills and what you are good at.

B.Sc is the best path if your aim is to make your career in the research or academic field because the course is more focused on pure Biology plus (B.Sc+M.Sc takes 5 years) so in the 6th year, you can join Ph.D. B.Tech is best option if your aim is to get an industrial job because when you go to aqn engineering college most probably the only department with biology involved will be biotech in the entire college and engineering is a mix of different courses, the initial year you will learn (Mech - ECE -Civil, etc.). But later it will be more of equipping your industrial knowledge in the last semesters it will be a mix of Biotech and Chemistry plus (B.Tech+ M.Tech takes 6 years) so only in the 7th year, you can join Ph.D in Biotechnology with initial Bachelor's degree just being a basic knowledge so it is must do a Master's degree. If you want to continue in the same field irrespective of B.Sc or B.Tech.
