How to Get Admission in Bachelor of Technology (B.Tech) (Computer Science):
Getting into a course is generally through an entrance exam which is conducted either by a recognised board like CBSE or State level exams which are conducted by State-Sponsored Universities. There are various entrance exams in India to get into this course. Some of these entrance tests are held at national level and include a tough competition like JEE exam for IITs and NITs. JEE or Joint Entrance Examination is conducted in the month of April with the guidelines of MHRD for admission to government aided engineering colleges. It is divided into two stages:

JEE Advanced
Around 13 Lakh students appear for this exam on a single day, conducted by one of the IITs. It is required to get into prestigious engineering colleges of India like NITs, IITs, etc. For shortlisting of final candidates, a weightage of 40% is also accorded to marks scored in 10+2 level examination.

The minimum level of education required to become a college professor is a Master's degree which can help an individual qualify to work as a professor at a community college. Yes it is required. In some universities you will be having maths for first 3 semesters and in some you will be having it only. For 2 years or so!
So it completely depends on which university you choose!
And coming to why maths I required here is the reason
1)To understand the process of sterilization you need to have basic knowledge of integration and differentiation.
2)In biotechnology one have to study about fermentator design & upscaling, bioprocesses, mass transfer, metabolic engineering, biochemistry, biophysics etc. So maths is required there!
3). For finding the estimation of dna, there is use of maths.
4). Calculate the composition of any culture.
5). Finding molarity, morality, normality of any solution.
6)If u placed in any industrial company there is use of maths for calculating the estimation, percentage, pH. And etc.

After the completion of the B.Sc degree there are various options available for the Science students, they can go for master degree in science I.e. M.Sc.
