MHT CET 2026 Dates: Maharashtra CET Cell has revised the MHT CET 2026 exam dates for PCM. The session-wise MHT CET exam date 2026 for both PCM and PCB is as follows.
- PCM: April 11 to 20 (Session 1) and May 12 to 16 (Session 2)
- PCB: April 21 to 26 (Session 1) and May 10 to 11 (Session 2)
As per the latest update, the authority will not conduct the MHT CET PCM exam on April 12 to avoid clashes with other national-level exams such as NDA, NATA, etc. Candidates can check their revised exam dates on the admit card. This year onwards, MHT CET will be conducted in two sessions, similar to the national-level JEE Mains exam.

MHTCET 2026 Admit Card Date
The final MHT CET hall ticket 2026 has been released for the PCM stream. Candidates can download the MHT CET 2026 admit card from the website, cetcell.mahacet.org, using their email ID and password.
Details about the MHT CET 2026 exam date and time, address of the exam centre, paper for which appearing, basic details like name, photo and signature are mentioned on the admit card. Candidates have to download and take a printout of their admit card to carry to the exam centre on the day of the exam.
The authority has yet to announce the MHT CET PCB admit card release date. Once announced, candidates can check the same on this page. The MHT CET admit card 2026 for PCB group is expected by April 14-15.
MHTCET Answer Key 2026 Date
The State Common Entrance Test Cell will release the MHT CET 2026 provisional answer key in online mode on the website, cetcell.mahacet.org. The provisional MHT CET answer key will be issued in a week's time after the conduct of the exam. Candidates can access the answer key through the candidate portal only. The authority will activate the challenge window along with the provisional answer key. Students who find any discrepancy can challenge the answer key within a specified duration. Objections to the answer key can be submitted online via the candidate login. Students have to attach the supporting documents and pay the fee. The authorities will then publish the final MHT CET 2026 answer key by considering the valid objections received. The results will be prepared as per the final MHT CET answer key.
MHT CET 2026 Result Date
The Maharashtra CET cell announces the MHT CET result 2026 on the official website - cetcell.mahacet.org. Candidates have to log in using their application number and password to check MHT CET result. Details about the percentile score of individual subjects and the aggregate percentile score are mentioned in the scorecard. After the release of the results, the MHT CET merit list is released.
MHT CET Counselling Dates 2026
The Maharashtra State Common Entrance Test Cell starts the MHT CET 2026 counselling in June. The counselling will be conducted online in three or four rounds. Registration for the counselling will open in June. After registration, CET Cell will release the merit list with details of the All India rank of candidates. The allotment of seats will be done based on the MHT CET merit list. The CET Cell will organise separate counselling for J&K and Ladakh candidates.
MHT CET Application Form Date
The State Common Entrance Test Cell, Maharashtra, has closed the MHT CET registration 2026 link at cetcell.mahacet.org. Candidates were allowed to fill the CET application forms between March 19 to 20 with a late fee of Rs 500. Previously, the CET 2026 registration last date was February 24, 2026. However, applicants were allowed to apply till February 27, by paying a late fee. To fill the MHT CET application form, candidates had to register at CET portal. After registration, students can access the application form and select the CET they want to apply for. After selecting CET, they could fill choice of exam centre and pay MHT CET application fee. Those who completed the MHT CET registration as per the deadline will be issued the MHT CET 2026 admit card to appear in the exam.
MHT CET 2026 Application Form Correction Date
The MHT CET form correction window was activated on the official website, cetcell.mahacet.org. Registered candidates were able to make edits to their application forms between March 5 and 7. Candidates were able to make changes only to a few fields. Moreover, students were given the option to add a subject group or apply for the MHT CET second attempt scheduled in May during the correction period itself.

MAHARASHTRA CET CELL mock tests are free and can be downloaded or practiced online. It is very important that CET aspirants regularly solve mock tests. It will help them in analyzing their preparation level and also give experience of appearing in the real exam.
It is advised that students solve mock tests in a planned manner. For each subject, students should solve subject/topic wise mock tests during the preparation and solve full length mock tests one month before the exam.

Yes, MHT CET is similar to JEE Mains in difficulty level, as per the exam conducting authority. However, the syllabus of MHT CET is less in comparison to JEE Mains. In MHT CET, class 12 complete syllabus and only a few topics of class 11 is asked whereas JEE Mains consists all topics of class 11 and 12 syllabus.
It is not advised to fill MHT CET application form 2026 using mobiles. If candidates do not have a laptop/computer, they can visit the computer centres in market for filling the MHT CET 2026 application form. Taking help of coaching is not necessarily required for clearing the MHT CET exam. Many students score good marks in MHT CET by self-studying, without help from coaching. To crack MHT CET without coaching, students need to make a study plan considering the time they have before exam.
Students can take help of online tutorials and videos from previous year toppers who have cleared the exam without coaching to understand their strategy. One thing that is required when students are not taking coaching is regular study.
Make a daily time table of study and devote at least 5-6 hours for MHT CET preparation. Students who are in class 11 or 12 can give 3-4 hours specifically for CET beside school studies. Students who have passed class 12 should also study at least 6 hours daily.
