The State Common Entrance Test Cell, Maharashtra will start the MHT CET 2026 registration tentatively in December. The MHT CET Application form last date without late fee would likely end in February 2nd week, 2026. With late fees, MHT CET application form 2026 will remain open till February last week, 2026. The application form will be available only online on the website cetcell.mahacet.org. The facility of MHT CET application form correction will open in March, 2026. MHT CET 2026 Admit Card Date
The MHT CET admit card 2026 will be released online on the website mahacet.org a few days before the exam. MHT CET 2026 Admit card download facility will be through the candidate login facility in the website cetcell.mahacet.org. Candidates have to download their MHT CET 2026 admit card by login into the website using their registered email ID and password.
Details about the MHT CET 2026 exam date and time, address of the exam centre, paper for which appearing, candidates basic details like name, photo and signature will be mentioned in the admit card. Candidates have to download and take a printout of their admit card to carry to the exam centre on the day of the exam.
MHT CET 2026 Exam Date
The Maharashtra CET Cell will announce the MHT CET exam date 2026 on the official website cetcell.mahacet.org tentatively in December. The exam will be conducted in April 2nd wee for PCB group and April 3rd week for the PCM groups. The exam will be conducted online as a computer-based test in around 100 cities of Maharashtra and outside Maharashtra.
MHT CET 2026 Answer Key Date
The Maharashtra CET Cell will release the answer key online on the official website around 1 week after the exam concludes. Candidates have to log in to the website to download the answer key. Candidates will also be allowed to challenge the provisional MHT CET answer key 2026. The objection window to challenge answer key will be available online through candidate login.
MHT CET 2026 Result Date
The Maharashtra CET cell will announce the MHT CET result 2026 in June. The result will be announced online on the official website. Candidates will be required to log in using their application number and password to check MHT CET result.
Details about the percentile score of individual subjects and aggregate percentile score will be mentioned in the scorecard. After the release of the result, the MHT CET merit list will be released.
MHT CET Counselling 2026 Date
The Maharashtra State Common Entrance Test Cell will start the MHT CET 2026 counselling in June. The counselling will be conducted online in three or four rounds. Registration for the counselling will open in June. After registration, CET Cell will release the merit list with details of All India rank of candidates. The allotment of seats will be done based on the MHT CET merit list. The CET Cell will organize separate counselling for J&K and Ladakh candidates.

It is unlikely you will get VJTI for Textile Engineering with a score of 82.83 and a rank of 56753 in the EWS category (rank 3705). The cutoff for VJTI's Textile Technology programme is generally higher than the scores you've mentioned, especially for the EWS category.

With 63.57% in MHT CET, you do have a fair chance to get B.Tech in Fashion Technology at D.K.T.E. Institute, especially if you're in a reserved category or from the home state. Fill it in your CAP options and keep backup colleges too, just in case the cutoffs go higher this year.

With 55 percentile in MHT CET and OBC category, you may get admission in some private engineering colleges in Pune like Zeal College, JSPM, Trinity, or PCCOE (lower branches). It's tough for top ones like COEP or VIT Pune. Try for spot rounds and fill all options during CAP rounds to improve chances
