To apply for BSc Nursing at IMS BHU, aspirants are required to apply for the NEET UG entrance exam. It is usually conducted in May. The application process for the same is conducted between February and March every year. In 2025, NTA released the NEET 2025 notification, information bulletin and NEET 2025 application form on February 7, 2025. The last date to submit the filled up application form was March 7, 2025 (11.50 PM).

To be eligible for BSc course at IMS BHU, Candidates must have passed Class 12 with Physics, Chemistry and Biology (PCB) to be eligible for admission Further, they must also appear for NEET UG, the accepted entrance exam for BSc (Nursing) admission ar IMS BHU. Yes, candidates can get direct admissions to BSc courses at Mangalore University-affiliated colleges. However, before getting enrolled, candidates are required to fulfil the eligibility criteria, i.e., the successful completion of the Class 12 examination or its equivalent from a recognised board with related stream/ subjects. Admissions are based on the merit of the last qualifying examination marks.

Hence, Mangalore University is more affordable for BSc courses compared to Bangalore University.
