Choose Swami Vivekananda University only if it offers you a significantly lower fee or is more convenient for you in terms of location.

The placement record for B.Tech CSE at Veer Surendra Sai University of Technology is generally considered good, especially among Odisha's government engineering colleges.

The average package is around ₹6–10 LPA, depending on the year and branch. The university's placement cell reports an overall average package of about ₹10 LPA for recent placements, while independent sources report an overall average closer to ₹6–6.5 LPA. 

The highest package has reached ₹24 LPA in recent placement seasons.

The CSE branch is one of the best-performing branches in terms of placements, with strong demand from IT companies every year. 

If you have an RT (Repeat Theory) in Mathematics, then you are generally not eligible for admission to B.Tech CSE at Banaras Hindu University until you clear Mathematics and obtain a passing result.

This is because:

B.Tech admission requires that you have passed Class 12 with the required subjects, including Mathematics.

An RT in Mathematics means you have not yet passed that subject, so you do not satisfy the basic eligibility requirement. 

If you later:

Clear the RT/compartment examination in Mathematics,

Receive your updated marksheet showing that you have passed, and

Meet the minimum eligibility criteria,

then you can be considered for admission, subject to the admission schedule and counselling deadlines. 

For B.Tech students at Amity University Kolkata, continuation of a scholarship after the 1st year is generally based on academic performance. Students are usually required to maintain a high CGPA (around 8.5–9.0 or above, depending on the scholarship category), pass all subjects without backlogs, and meet the university's scholarship renewal rules. The exact CGPA and conditions can vary, so you should confirm the current policy with the admissions or scholarship office before taking admission. 

As for whether it is worth joining for B.Tech:

Pros

Good campus infrastructure and modern laboratories.

Industry-oriented curriculum with coding, projects, and internships.

Decent placement opportunities for students who maintain good academic records and develop strong technical skills.

Opportunities for extracurricular activities and overall personality development. 

Cons

The fees are relatively high compared to many government colleges.

If you can get admission to a reputed government college or a better-ranked private institute at a similar cost, that may offer better value.
