Hello, Mr Arun. If I were in your place and got a seat in Indraprastha University (IPU), I would choose it first because of academic reasons and budget.

But if you are searching for a modern campus, practical learning, internships, and good placement support, LPU is also a very good option. In the end, choose the university that fits your career goals and budget.

From what I've seen, placement opportunities for CSE at Galgotias University are quite good. The university attracts a wide range of recruiters and also provides placement training, aptitude sessions, and interview preparation. While the university creates plenty of opportunities, students who consistently work on their coding skills, projects, internships, and interview preparation usually achieve the best placement outcomes.

If you have an RT (Repeat Theory) in Mathematics, then you are generally not eligible for admission to B.Tech CSE at Banaras Hindu University until you clear Mathematics and obtain a passing result.

This is because:

B.Tech admission requires that you have passed Class 12 with the required subjects, including Mathematics.

An RT in Mathematics means you have not yet passed that subject, so you do not satisfy the basic eligibility requirement.

If you later:

Clear the RT/compartment examination in Mathematics,

Receive your updated marksheet showing that you have passed, and

Meet the minimum eligibility criteria,

then you can be considered

For B.Tech students at Amity University Kolkata, continuation of a scholarship after the 1st year is generally based on academic performance. Students are usually required to maintain a high CGPA (around 8.5–9.0 or above, depending on the scholarship category), pass all subjects without backlogs, and meet the university's scholarship renewal rules. The exact CGPA and conditions can vary, so you should confirm the current policy with the admissions or scholarship office before taking admission.

As for whether it is worth joining for B.Tech:

Pros

Good campus infrastructure and modern laboratories.

Industry-oriented curriculum with co

With 57.8 percentile in JEE Main and 73% in Class 12, your chances depend on your category, home state, and JEE rank.

  • Eligibility: Your 73% in Class 12 satisfies the basic B.Tech eligibility requirement (minimum 45% aggregate in PCM for General category in AKTU-affiliated colleges).
  • CSE through UPTAC counselling: For the Computer Science Engineering (CSE) branch, previous years' closing ranks have generally been much stronger than what a 57.8 percentile typically corresponds to.

If you're comparing private universities in NCR for B.Tech CSE, Galgotias University is definitely a strong option, especially if your priorities are placements, coding opportunities, and overall return on investment.

Some of the reasons it stands out are:

  • Strong placement ecosystem: The university reports thousands of placement offers every year, with 1,200+ recruiters visiting the campus. Companies like Microsoft, Amazon, Accenture, Cognizant, Infosys, Capgemini, HCLTech, and many others recruit from the university.
  • Industry-focused CSE curriculum: Students can choose specializations in AI & ML, Data Science, Cyber Security, IoT, Full S
