You can get the relevant information about placement and average package offered, on the college site under placement section. Although average package lies around 4-5 lakhs.

For foreign nationals/persons of Indian origin/ non-resident Indians/overseas citizen candidates:
Candidate must have passed 10+2 in relevant field with minimum 60% aggregate marks or 6.50 CGPA (on a 10 point scale) or equivalent in the qualifying examination form any recognized board.
Must have minimum 1440 score in SAT.
Must have born on or after October 01, 1991.
Final year appearing candidate can also apply on provisional basis.
Kindly note that the SAT score and cutoff ranks vary for different NITs.

You can't take admission in those universities (on JEE rank basis), who conduct their own entrance exam. So, you have to qualify the entrance test organised by IPU.

Definitely, you can. But you can appear for the 2nd round. I think you can get CSE in NITs because your 1st attempt is good. You can get your desired result with this attempt also.

Hi Hartej,
I don't think the highest packages or massive placements define a University. Shiv Nadar University (SNU) is one of it's kind. It is a place to learn as well as a place to grow. As far as placements are concerned, there is a very active Career Development Center (CDC). The CDC takes care of all the placements, be it industrial or academic. It also provides students with exciting internship opportunities. Universities, every time is not just about placements, but the sort of education it offers. There is a great scope of CS in future, because as the technology will develop. There is great need of person to operate it and repair it, when it became defective, also new programs with better updates need to be developed in future, so strengthen the technology boost. So, CS is evergreen according to me.

Minimum marks vary every year like below:
2018 -approximately 375
2017- 366
2016- 372
2015 - 504
2014 - 360
So, it is difficult to predict marks as exam pattern and marks change every year but you should score more than 50% marks to get good branch in Top IITs.
According, to 2018cut off you must have secure more than 155 marks to get into IITs.
