As you have secured 40420 rank in JEE Mains exam, it will be a little bit difficult for you to get admission in any NITs or IIITs for CSE. Still I will suggest you to participate in the counselling process and wait until the last round of the counselling.

As you have scored 71% in class 12th board and 79.89 percentile in JEE Mains, so you are eligible to take admission in any colleges available in the list. But I will suggest you to go for some good private colleges like Amity University, Shardha University, Lovely professional university etc. As per your interests and convenience. If your budget is very high and you belong to the above average family background, then you can go for DSATM as it is having good campus life and exposure, but if you are from average or middle average family then SIT is a better option as its fee is less and you can also get a scholarship, if applicable.

B.Tech is better, as it fetches you a technical degree, while B.Sc would be considered as a regular Bachelor's degree. Also, if you opt for B.Tech, you would have more technical exposure as the course content is more detailed, number of practicals and projects would also be more as B.Tech is completed in 4 years. But yes, if you want to complete your studies as soon as possible, B.Sc would be better. And the fees for B.Sc is also lesser relatively. However, if you are interested in computer Science field and want to learn more, B.Tech is suggested. All the best.
