You need to study hard so that you obtain at least 60% in your graduation examination then subsequently when you appear for AFCAT you need to do well so that you are in the merit list and then you will be going in for services board selection and after successfully clearing it you will be placed in the order of merit before you actually join the Indian airforce. Hello Mohammad, it's very nice to seethat you have completed your Diploma and are now interested in completion of graduation in engineering. Normally speaking yes you would be eligible. However it is better to check on the website of the directorate of technical education of your state. They would invariably have a table wearing eligibility of Diploma holders of different branches for or seeking degree of engineering in different branches is given. Alternatively you can even seek guidance from the administrative staff from the institution where you have completed your Diploma education as they will be able to guide you in this. Hello Venkat Reddy, once you join Indian Air Force as an air warrior then you will be posted to different stations of the Indian Air Force after completion of your initial training. In such conditions is quite tough and almost impossible to continue studies particularly of engineering graduation since I would strongly advise against joining any correspondence course for engineering. However you have one better option with you to obtain exactly same qualification. You can appear for and obtain AMIE certification which is equivalent to graduation in engineering for all practical purposes. Other than professional courses, an air warrior can always continue with his education via correspondence courses. As a matter of fact IAF supports such activities and the education branch offices encourage air warriors to acquire such additional qualifications. Best wishes to you.

Hello Ismail, it's nice to hear that you are son wants to get admission in an engineering college after passing his entrance examination conducted by the state of Andhra Pradesh. Let me tell you something. As per the press release by human resource development ministry of the government of India almost 50% of the fresh engineering graduates could not get jobs last year. This is a very serious issue. Many students do not get job after completion of engineering and then they struggle. Your son has got less than 60% in the qualifying examination. Hence I would request you to interact with him or was teachers and get to know as to which subjects he likes the most since it is better to do graduation in that subject rather than going for engineering and after 4 years stare at a no job situation.
