To know the projected cut off for Thapar University, you can check the previous year cutoffs for BE courses on the website www.thapar.edu - Admissions -BE - Cut off for third round of counselling.
The cutoff for the next year admissions is subject to vary with the difficulty level of the JEE Mains exam.
For an idea, the outside Punjab cutoff for CSE can lie in the range 150-190 marks.

I'll suggest you for doing a PGPBM Course at any of the Indian Institute of Management B-school, MBA will give you exponential growth in the future. If you are inclined towards technical side then I'll suggest you, go for MS abroad because M.Tech even from IITs will not give you a 20+ Lacs package.

Hi Augustya,
To apply for a Bachelor's degree programme in USA, you have to take the SAT. Some universities, the top ones require SAT subject tests as well. Most importantly you have to be academically strong so focus on your studies, alongwith it engage yourself in valuable extracurricular activities. Both your academic and non-academic profiles must be excellent. You must also take the TOEFL to meet the English language requirements. You are strongly advised to start checking the admission requirements of US universities and prepare accordingly.

Hi Pranav Dubey, you already said you want to pursue PGDM which is nothing but PG Diploma in Management. Management courses don't need programming. But, if you want to study in Canada it is better you choose a relevant field. If not interested in programming then there are other areas to which you can explore like graphics, animations, IT Management etc. You have to choose as per your personal interest. Check out career outcomes of various courses and relate it to your own career goals.
