Placement of PIET is impeccable . Many companies come across in the PIET institute to give the huge placement like wipro, amazon.faculty is too good .Infrastructure is excellent . Yo can go for it.

Personal interest should be given utmost importance in branch selection. Other factors count later. So firstly, decide your field of interest. Do some web searches and introspect yourself.
For future prospects, ME is an evergreen branch. You can always get decent jobs there with your skills.
