PES Institute Of Technology admission to the BE/ BTech courses are based on candidates' performance in the COMEDK entranc exams. Based on the Round 3 of the COMEDK 2024 cutoff, B.E. in Computer Science and Engineering was the most in-demand course with a closing rank of 82808 to get admission at. You should accept the Electrical branch in NIT Silchar rather than CSE in IIITS as NIT Silchar is way older and has more reputation than IIITs. You should study hard in the 1st year in NIT Silchar as 1st year is common in every department and if you will be able to score more than 9 CGPA then you can apply for branch transfer in CSE. NIT Silchar has a facility of branch transfer in 2nd year so you can go for CSE in 2nd year.
