There is almost 60 to 70% placement of B.Tech in electronics and communication engineering in Jamia Millia Islamia. Companies like Lava International, CSC, L&T limited, Mahindra Comviva and TCS are the major recruiters for Electronics and Communication Engineering here which offer packages between 3.50 -5 LPA.

The scope of big data/ analytics is generating immense data everyday that get unmanageable over time.
Passion for coding is definitely a primary requirement for a data scientist or big data analyst at any level.
Btw, coding will be a very common practice 40 years down the line.
Work experience surely matters in the Masters courses of Business Analytics to make your profile stand out, to check the real-world credibility of your skills.
It should always be there regardless of the course.
If you do big data and want to do analysis then yes you would be a data analyst and progress from there. It all boils down to which field you want to special

Hi Anubhav, it's like both the colleges are very good for the ECE branch but I must tell you that UEM, Jaipur is having fabulous ECE faculties as I have experienced it myself they are very humble and so much supportive you will be truly benefited from it.

You should get admission in B.Tech and then look for jobs. For Diploma holders, some colleges offer direct admission based on merit and few colleges take written exam. Diploma holders get admission directly to the 2nd year of B.Tech.
After completing B.Tech, you will have number of opportunities and job profile will also be good.
Some good colleges of B.Tech are:
1. IITs.
2. Bengal Institute of Technology – Karnataka.
3. UTM – Shillong.

For a job at good level, you should continue with your studies for another 2 years and complete your M.Tech. It will help you in fetching good jobs and at better position as well. After completing B.Tech in EC, you can go for specialised M.Tech of EC which will help you determine your field and work for it. Top colleges for M.Tech comprise :

2. IITM
3. IISC, Bangalore
4. BITS
5. NIT's
6. UPES, Dehradun
