Since according to last year's cutoffs, you can get into Telecommunication and Industrial Management and hardly mechanical engineering with OBC and your given rank through KCET. Since the cutoff has not fallen down much for KCET, I suggest you to go for other colleges. Best of luck.

Now a days, most Public sectors recruie the candidates on the basis of GATE, like BEL, IOCL, BSNL etc. So, you can prepare for GATE, then you can apply for these companies, and then as per number of applications received, companies conduct written test/ interview. Another option is "engineering services" for which you have to prepare your subjects like digital electronics, signals, Digital signal processing, control system, Engineering Mathematics etc. So, focus on these subjects.
