KL University Hyderabad does considers JEE Main score for admission in BTech. However, it is not compulsory. Aspirants with scores in JEE Advanced, Uni-Gauge or state-level Engineering entrance exams and merit in sports/ cultural activities can also get admission. Candidates can also appear for KLEEE conducted by KL University Hyderabad.

University of Hyderabad is primarily known for postgraduate and research programmes, though it does hold a respectable NIRF rank around 71. For undergraduate BTech specifically, IIT Hyderabad, IIIT Hyderabad, and JNTUH remain the stronger and more popular choices in the city. If you're set on UoH, double-check which specific BTech programmes it currently offers before applying.
