If you have the same JEE rank and get a seat in a govt. college, always choose govt. over private. This is because government colleges charge much lower fees, have better brand value, and give you a stronger return on investment. In Nashik, there is only 1 government engineering college out of 30+ total colleges, so a government seat is rare and precious.

There are many colleges in Nashik offering BTech. Students can compare different colleges on different factors. To be eligible for admission to the BE/BTech course at MET League of Colleges, Bhujbal Knowledge City, Nashik, the candidate has to score a minimum of 45% aggregate in class 12 in a relevant stream from any recognised board. Eligible students will have to appear for the MHT CET or the JEE Main exam and score valid marks to be eligible for the course. To apply, the candidates will have to visit the official website of the respective conducting body, fill out the application form, and attend the counseling. Candidates can also apply directly for admission under the management quota.

It is not mandatory for you to give an entrance exam for getting admission to BTech degree courses in any of the specializations. There are a lot of popular engineering colleges in India that will admit you on the basis of your performance in the Class 12 board examination, given you have scored really good marks and are able to qualify for the merit cutoff released by the college.
The minimum eligibility for admission to BTech courses is normally around 50 to 60% marks in PCM subjects
