As per the UGC guidelines doing B.E. / B.Tech from Distance/ Correspondence mode is not valid. So avoid to do this. AMIE, B.Tech regular part time and B.Tech evening are the best options for working professionals.

You have not written about the college, However Diploma in Automobile Engineering students are eligible for B.Tech lateral admission in Mechanical Engineering. The name of few colleges are given below.
1. LPU Phagwara
2. Chandigarh University

Hello Wasim, many students like you who have completed their Diploma and are now working in some company are desirous of doing their graduation by way of distance education in the field of engineering. I am afraid that such fish is not possible presently. UGC has prohibited all universities from offering any professional course by way of distance education and as a result no university can offer such a course.
