Over the past three years, MANIT Bhopal ranking has been on a decline. According to the NIRF, the institute was ranked 60th in 2021 under the "engineering" category, but it dropped to 70th in the following year. Finally, in 2023, NIT Bhopal fell to the 80th position, as per the NIRF rankings.

BTech is the flagship course of MNNIT Allahabad. It has been ranked by NIRF and other ranking agencies. Motilal Nehru National Institute of Technology Allahabad BTech ranking 2023 has also improved, from 47 out of 300 colleges in 2022 to 49 out of 200 colleges in 2023. The Outlook 2023 also ranked MNNIT Allahabad 13 under the BTech category. Besides, MNNIT Allahabad has maintained its ranking of 101 under the 'Overall' category out of 200 colleges in India by the NIRF 2023 rankings for the second consecutive year.
