If you pursue it from CIPET-Chennai or Ahmedabad then it is a very good course for both girls and boys. The major recruiters are Minda Groups, Maruti Suzuki, KTM, etc. The package differs each year from college to college. But the average package remains at around 3 to 5 LPA.

In order to get a job in ISRO, B.Tech in CSE, ECE and Mechanical are some preferred branches. After B.Tech, you have to clear GATE examination with very good marks and then you have to clear ISRO entrance interview.
