Electronics & Communication Engineering is in short-form known as ECE. ECE and Electronics and Telecom Engineering are the same branches with same syllabus.

This university is still developing. The faculty they are providing has an average performance. You can't find them to teach out of the books. Labs are at its best. Placements have up and downs. I will advise you to choose this university when you will not get admission into any other better univers

You have a pretty good rank. You can get any of the NITs with a good branch.

I think you should prepare for GATE exam.

Comparison is the key here.
If you have no other choice, go for it.
SRM, Modinagar is not the best university in India. If you choose to stay local, it's your choice. There are good alternatives. Do not settle for less.

Kindly mention your state board's result and percentile.

If you take up accounts, all the things like placements, infrastructure, studies, people, faculty, SRM wins, sometimes by a small margin. The rest is up to you.
