Admission to BTech course is based on entrance exam at DYPDPU STR. BTech full form is Bachelor of Technology,  a 4-year UG-level engineering degree program, which is spread across 8 semesters. B Tech is a professional course that strongly focuses on computers and technology and teaches students about the fundamental aspects of computer programming, software, and hardware.

To enroll in a BTech course at Dr. D. Y. Patil Dnyan Prasad University's School of Technology and Research, candidates must meet the eligibility criteria set by the institute. The institute offers full-time BTech courses lasting four years. Students are selected based on the entrance exam. In addition to the selection criteria, students must pass Class 12 (common eligibility).
