B.Tech CS is a better option and you only need to study maths in the first year of engineering. Apart from that, you need to study stream specific subjects.

For any computer engineer to become a master developer he or she must be master in at least one Object Oriented Programming language. Also Ge or She myst have deep understanding of data structures. If you are planning to become Applications Developer then you must have excellent knowladge of RDBMS
