You can firstly select a college then check out it's eligibility criteria if you fit well in that and then you can apply to the college. In case you have appeared for exams like JEE then you should attend counseling. Otherwise there are some options still available to you. Some universitie

Hey Anish,
It will be a tough call for you to get a seat into NIT but you should wait for the counseling and result, I would also suggest you to apply for some other colleges so that you are not left out at a later stage. Some best colleges are still accepting applications for engineering programs. S
